Flash Challenge
Vertical Metres Climbed
The MCL Construction Triple Peaks on 25th February is an opportunity to have an off-road adventure in the heart of the Hawkes Bay. A spectacular 55km course over a mixture of private and public land includes breathtaking views, river crossings, and a mixture of trails, and farm tracks.
Choose your course distance from one (20k), two (40k), or three (55k) peaks, or compete in a team, with live music, a free locally designed event T-shirt, and all proceeds going towards the Te Mata Peak trust.
Taking on the Triple Peaks also means over 2,000 vertical metres, so this challenge is about just that - get as much vert as you can in a fortnight, starting on Monday 30th January.
Every (almost, see * below) vertical metre you climb whilst running (or walking or crawling) gets you an entry into the spot prize draw, and higher up the leaderboard. It doesn't matter where you run, just chuck in that extra little hill ⛰️
* the elevation gain from your activity must be at least triple digits (so that's 100m+) to count!
We have a Ledlensers NEO5R Headlamp and a free entry to the MCL Construction Triple Peaks on 25th February up for grabs.
Both are awarded as spot prizes, with each point on the leaderboard getting you an entry into the random draw!
