Sugarloaf can be accessed on the trails Rapaki Sugarloaf Return, Gondola Gallop, Lava - H.ELL Loop, Port Hills Spur Challenge!, Pour Some Sugarloaf On Me and Port Hills 8-Attack from our trail directory.
Hard to miss with the massive radio mast. Crater Rim trail does not pass over this peak - instead goes in front so you need to divert off and up a steep single track. Reasonably well marked. Awesome views at the top.
