Head directly down Branding Yard Road road. This will be directly in front of the trail head. It is not signposted.

Pass the Bunjil geoglyph on your left. Keep going until you reach a turn off for the Saddle Back track (at 1.4 km). Turn right onto Saddle Back track. You will reach the Saddle in 900m.

Just past the saddle there are several turn offs. Go straight for another 10 m and turn right onto the West track. Follow the West track for 2.2 km. This will bring you out at the Turntable car park. Turn right following signs for Big Rock onto Rockwell road (dirt road). Follow Rockwell Road for 800m until there is turn off to the left signposted as Big Rock and Park Office. Follow the signs for Big Rock for 500m. Cross over a tar road (the car parking for Big Rock will be on your left) and head on to Big Rock itself (a further 20 m ahead). Take in the view and then follow the circular track that loops around the base of Big Rock (800 m).

Head back the way you came along the dirt road connecting you with Rockwell road. Turn right onto Rockwell road back to Turntable car park. Take the East leg of the East-West track (leaves the car park slightly to the right of where you previously exited the West track). This will take you back to the Saddle (2.2km). Follow Saddle Back track to Branding Yard road and head back the way you came. You can also take the Branding Yard trail back to Toynes Road carpark.

This trail can get busy on the weekend and is fairly exposed. It's recommended to head out early in the morning.

Bunjil neoglyph, Flinders peak, Big Roack
