When you arrive at the MTB Hub, the shelter will be in front of you, go to the left of the shelter and head further to the left of the Kids MTB area and you will find a trail.... folow this trail, it is a loop (nearly) and will bring you to a gravel road after just over 2km. Look over the gravel road and you will see another trail sign, hop over onto that and follow it until it pops you back onto the carpark to the right of where you started.
Turn left along the carpark road for about 100m and you will see the entrance to Uno... this again is a loop.... so away you go until it too pops you back at the carpark. Now if you look across the carpark you will see the barrier across a road heading downhill... head towards that but just before you reach it, take the trail that appears on your left. About 200 metres down this trail there is a post on your right and another post further to your right (these used to be signs until they were stolen). Head to the second post and a trail opens ahead of you through the bush, follow this to the 'Lost Tank'. From here you can retrace your steps or look to the right of the tank and a less obvious trail will give you a small loop back to the main trail... then retrace your steps to the carpark and car!
There is a toilet at trail head at MTB hub.
Massive carpark and toilet at the MTB Hub, plus a trail map in case you are confused.

This run joins two short loop tracks, Kereru and Uno, before a short jaunt to find the Lost Tank which takes the distance up to 5km. A nice little leg stretcher if you're travelling the Tauranga-Rotorua route. Uno is the prettiest part of the run.

Enjoyed the Uno track the most...and finding the lont tank. Great option for a dog on lead adventure

Ran this with my 11 year-old daughter and 2 year-old border collie, both of whom had a blast.

I managed to get lost on the way to the Lost Tank and did 7k. I wasn’t concentrating and the sign was facing the opposite way. Found it eventually- lovely little picnic area at the tank.

These overlap with this trail to some degree. You may wish to combine them but please note that to qualify for FKTs on these runs you should record a separate activity for each.
