This is a super easy trail, perfect for beginners just starting trail running, or those wanting to pit themselves against a time-trail with multiple laps. Great for running with a buggy and having the kids on bikes, very family friendly. On a clear day, the views and reflections on the waters are just stunning.

This is part of the Cashmere Stream Restoration Project, and it's bringing wetland bird life back.

Trail Reviews

Flat, gravel, easy running trail. Good views. Suitable for any footwear.

Lovely little circuit, which 'featured' a Steeplechase like water hazard in the bottom right corner after a night and day of heavy rain. The rest of the track was well drained and dry. I ran it in trail shoes, but road shoes would be completely appropriate. It would make a great flat tempo circuit.

Short and flat - perfect for recovery! A nice little loop with views of surrounding hills.
