Starting from the end of Turitea Road (before the gravel, where the PNCC Water Treatment plant is), follow the gravel road up the hill for 2km, before hitting the next few km of undulating single track (which is on the edge of the water catchment area), carrying onto Greens Road (Gravel). Continue climbing to the highest point, and then drop down the other side at a very fast pace before turning at Kahutarewa Road to return to the start. Is good for a fast trail/gravel road mix training with some good short hills.

The bush section down low is nice. From the highpoint I followed the sign for 'walkers' as I thought this was the elected route (the gpx did not follow this however). It made for a very slow descent as the track is very overgrown and rutted. I believe the tar seal road is newish and I wonder if now a better option would be to start down stream further and link the green corridor trails prior to the bridge, then turn around at the high point prior to the tar seal road section.

Nice wee run, was easy to find where I was meant to be going although noticed last downhill to the road end they are now recommending TA walkers go off the road and the road is fairly newly tar sealed by the looks of it. Don't know if that means the route will have to change in the future!

Very accessible from Palmerston North and yet within a few minutes of setting out your running through bush that could be in the middle of nowhere. A shame that there wasn't more of the bush track and less farm road, but really beautiful in spots. I went very early but despite that there were a few mountain bikers on the track as I was returning, I imagine later in the day it could get a little busy.

A nice quiet, off road/trail run. Close to town yet feels like youre in the middle of nature. Nice rolling runnable hills - good hill training.
