This is a smorgasbord of some favourite Arrowtown trails. A good chunk of it is on The WILD 50 mile course but also includes parts of the 20 mile and 100 mile courses too.
Most suitable for:
Intermediate level runners and above. A good level of fitness is required.
Peaks to be bagged:
Big Hill 1137m Navigation: Easy for the most part. One short section is untracked but should not present too many difficulties.
Trail Conditions
A mix of easy to moderate single track, 4WD/farm track and just enough technical terrain to add a touch of spice.
This trail includes the peak Big Hill .

We recommend taking at least 1.5L with you. This can be topped up when crossing the Arrow River at the base of the Hayes Creek Track and on the descent from Big Hill Saddle (stream in beech forest).
