From the carpark run about 1km back down Silverstream Valley Rd till you see a sign for the track to Powder Hill going up on the right. Follow this up and turn right where it joins a track through some plantation. Continue up about 500m until a track goes to the right to Powder Hill trig. Near the trig there is a turn off down the hill again for Chalkies track and the limestone cliffs. Follow this down to Silverstream to join the 4WD by the Silver stream fords. Turn right and come back to the car park.

This trail includes the peak Powder Hill.

Some interesting chalk (limetone) cliffs.

Trail Reviews

One of the most fun short runs I've done in a long time. Thigh-pounding ascent and dreamy, fast descent.
