Pretty straightforward, starting at the carpark follow the farm track through Lauder Station. Stay on this track all the way to the top! It is marked with poles during the farmland. This guide goes as far as the broken trig (A3NK) but once on the tops you are free to roam as you'd like through the Conservation Area. A little further on is the Lauder Basin Hut which is worth a visit. Head back the way you came.
Great views of the upper Manuherikia Valley.

Snow during winter, and weather can be changeable at any time (I got blown to an almost standstill running downhill... in the middle of summer).
