Easy navigation here, just follow the well formed (and reasonably new) trail. There are a few intersections going up, just keep right at each one.
(When coming down go right at each one and you will add a couple of wee loops to the out and back.)
Near the top there is a sign pointing to Summit... ignore that and carry on the main trail towards the Lookouts. At the top you follow the fenceline left for about 100m for the views of Stewart Island. Once you have taken the great views in, head back, remembering to head right at each intersection.
Lovely views of Stewart Island (on a clear day), Invercargill, Tiwai Point Smelter.... and lots of other gems.

A lot of love has gone into this trail - and is still ongoing, it will be a great all weather track.

Lovely run and amazing views. Should've brought a packed lunch for the picnic tables at the top!

No sign of Rakiura today in the driving rain. Forest provided amazing shelter from the elements. Keen to revisit on a clear sunny day.

Perfect day for an Omaui run! I was surprised that there was no one else there - its a great wee track to prep for Luxmore/Kepler. Stunning views. Finished with a play along the beach
