Start at the Southern Side of Butterfield Beach, near the swing sets. There is parking here if you need it.

From there travel north along the paved road up and over the hill. When you reach Horseshoe Beach turn right onto Horseshoe Point Road. Pass the dump on the right and follow the signs for Horseshoe Point track. The track from this point is wide easy single track that follows the headland through the bush.

Once you reach the trig and lookout the track narrows and becomes a bit muddier as it heads down to Deadman's beach and then back up the stars. There are few stairs here to get your heart rate going. From there there is more narrow fin single track to the end of Braggs Bay.

From Bags Bay follow the dirt road back to Butterfield Beach.

Horseshoe Point Deadman's Beach.
