A runnable gradient with enough challenge to be a good training run. Great wee track

The bush on this route is awesome, and while its sad so much bush had been cleared for farming around the area, this remnant is great. Has some really cool large rocks with trees growing on top about halfway along, youll know these when you see them. This is a must do route if youre in the area. We made this into a 27km / 900m vert gain run by running it as an out and back twice, doing the top loop on the way out and the way back each time. Thoroughly recommended.

Steady hills that are mostly not too challenging. Pleasantly undulating in parts. Few view points. but the top loop adds some altitude and a vantage point.
