Head south directly across the Bridge and towards Page Street. Turning Left, head down Page street, and cross State Highway 3. You will see the Colonel Malone Statue across the road, and the path that leads down under the Railway bridge.

This path leads you to the Juliet Street Bridge. You'll turn right here away from the bridge, but take note, you'll come back up the trail on the other side of the river, and come across this bridge midway through. A short distance down Juliet Street, turn left to go down Lear Street. You're almost done with the road running, I promise.

At the end of Lear Street, carry on straight onto the river trail. This next part of the trail you come back on as well, so when you emerge at Swansea Road, take note of the exit. At Swansea Road, head directly across, and you'll seen the trail sign for Eastern Loop. Follow this all the way down (you'll pass a suspension bridge which you will come back too), and when you come to a gate at the end of the trail, by a road exit (Victoria Road), turn back and take the Suspension bridge across the river.

Follow the river trail back up the river now, on the North side. You'll come back out at Swansea Road, so remember your exit spot from before, this will mean you cross over and switch to the Southern side of the river, to carry on up the river trail. You'll pop back out at Lear Street, and turn to your right now, and cross another bridge.

Have a glance down from the bridge and look up the river. Your next trail is down at the waters edge. At the end of the bridge turn sharply right to head down the steps to join the river trail again. *Take note when the river is high this section can be impassable, but no worries, either take Lear street, or Cloten Road to miss this bit out.

The river trail will pop you back out again on Juliet Street. Head left and cross the bridge, making your way across the road again to the trail under the railway bridge from the start. Back across State Highway3 again, up Page street, and around the trail by the bridge you first cross. Don't cross the bridge though, follow around past the playground and find the Trail labelled Three Bridges again under the trees.

Once you make your way along the limestone path, and it changes back to bush path, you'll see a sign for the Western loop, take a left and run the loop in an anti clockwise direction. This will take you around farm land, and if you're lucky some great Mountain views. When you come back off the Western loop, take a sharp left and not long up the trail you'll come across another bridge to get back across the river.

Head straight for a short bit, and then join back onto the Carrington walkway to the right and this will take you back through the Rhododendron dell, behind the sports complex, through the Malone Gates and back to the Centennial rest rooms

Centennial rest rooms at trail head start. Open dawn till dusk. Public restrooms available at the TET Stadium, an exterior toilet open 24/7.

Ample parking available on Fenton Street.
