Start on Kaiteriteri Beachfront, take the track to Little Kaiteriteri. The Stephens Bay Walk starts at the far end of Little Kaiteriteri beach, and follows the coast right around to Stephens Bay. From here, run along Stephens Bay Road and turn left onto the Riwaka-Kaiteriteri Road. There is a short run along the road (take care as it has very little verge) until you reach the sign at the Kaiteriteri Mountain Bike Park. Follow the "Easy Rider" trail to the start of the Kaiteriteri Mountain Bike Park then switch onto "Cruise Control" followed by "Glade Runner" or "Shady Lady", then "Revelation" which brings you back to Martin Farm Road. You can then either run back to Kaiteriteri Beach front along the road, or take an additional off-road trail which starts at the edge of the estuary and proceeds clockwise around the estuary to the back of the Motorcamp. Most of this run is trail. It pays to be cautious when running in the Mountain Bike Park in case of bikes.

Parking at Kaiteriteri Beach is plentiful unless it is peak season (summer) when it pays to be there nice and early. Parking is free of charge.

Great loop. The beach and forest parts are really stunning. The road part is meh but it isn’t too long.

A perfect holiday trail even at the hottest time of day. There's a new trail almost directly opposite Stephen's Bay that almost eliminates any of the road running.

Nice loop, we took a couple of longer trails through the mtb park & added on the lookout to the left of Kaiteriteri beach. The MTB park trails are really nice, I prefered running them to the Able Tasman Coastal Track.

These overlap with this trail to some degree. You may wish to combine them but please note that to qualify for FKTs on these runs you should record a separate activity for each.
