This is largely a straightforward in and out trail with some sections of lovely running single-trail, however at the top end the trail gets less clear where many people have explored the area around the rocky terrain.
This is worth doing as there is some amazing terrain.
Care needs to be taken if climbing on the rocks but overall it's a great place to explore.
At the top of the run is where in the 1929 Murchison Earthquake, half of the large hill at the end of the valley collapsed and fell into the valley. The photos don't do it justice, but when you are there you get a feel for the magnitude.
If you know of any public toilets near the trail start or on the route, please login and then let us know so we can update this section.
There is a carpark right over the road from the Trailhead.

Stream next to you pretty much the whole way up and back.
There were signs that this could become pretty muddy in winter.
Take care around the rocky area at the top.
