Start at Wainui car park up to the top of Gibbs Hill back, and over to the Junction / sign posted Tōtaranui - Pigeon Saddle take a right out to Pigeon Saddle car park then back down Tōtaranui Hill Road to the turn off to Wainui back to the car park. Great Loop.

This trail includes the peak Gibbs Hill.

Beautiful open views over Wainui Bay and out to Awaroa.

Navigation Tips:

Make sure you take a right marked route out to Pigeon Saddle about a km down the back side of Gibbs Hill.
Then take the bush track with a marker at the end of the private farm land out to Pigeon Saddle - Totaranui Road.
