An amazing run. We actually decided to do an out and back on the trail rather than run on the road. Started at the boat ramp and ran up to the road, then back down, along the beach, turned right at the end, then back along the road to the boat ramp. Beautiful runnable cliff top trail, stairs up and down add to the challenge. Awesome views out to Aotea GBI.

Absolutely love this part of the Coromandel Peninsula. Quiet, steep enough to get the legs burning, and stunning views from the top. Add on a loop down to Fletcher Bay via the gravel road, just be prepared to dodge a car or two at busy times of year.

Actually did this yonks ago in combo with an ascent of Mt Moehau. Camped up at Stony Bay. Great remote feel up here
