From the gate follow the trail across the field, through long grass and into the small bit of bush. Here the trail becomes much easier to see and winds it's way up to Horokiwi Road, coming out near the intersection with Woollaston Way. Take in the view, then enjoy the downhill run back to the start.
This is a link trail between Grenada Village and Horokiwi, It's possible to combine with neighbouring trails to reach the Belmont Regional Park.
No toilets near the route. Closest possibly Willowbank Reserve, 16 Boscobel Lane, Tawa.
Plenty of parking available at the bus stop. Bus Stop number 3451 Grenada Drive, Grenada Village. Route number 1.

Near the top of the trail there's the option to go left or right. This description takes the right hand fork that leads to the road.
